What is the difference between 9mm and 9x19mm Luger?

They are the same. 9mm Luger, 9mm Parabellum, and 9x19mm all refer to the most popular handgun caliber in the world. At BulkRounds, we stock all variations for range and defense.

Can I shoot 5.56 NATO in a .223 Remington chamber?

Generally, no. While they look identical, 5.56 NATO has higher pressure. However, you can shoot .223 Rem in a 5.56 chamber. Always check your barrel stamping before ordering our bulk rifle cases.

What does “Grain” (gr) mean in ammunition?

Grain refers to the weight of the projectile (the bullet), not the powder. A higher grain (e.g., 147gr 9mm) is heavier and typically moves slower than a lower grain (e.g., 115gr 9mm).

Is it legal to buy ammunition online?

Yes, in most U.S. states, it is perfectly legal to have ammunition shipped directly to your door. BulkRounds complies with all federal regulations regarding the sale and transport of small arms ammunition.

Why can’t ammo be shipped via Air or USPS?

Ammunition is classified as ORM-D (Other Regulated Materials-Domestic) and must travel via Ground Transportation only. This is a safety regulation enforced by the DOT.

How long can I store bulk ammunition?

When stored in a cool, dry place, modern ammunition can last 20-50 years. We recommend keeping your BulkRounds orders in their original packaging inside a sealed ammo can with a desiccant pack.

What is “Remanufactured” vs “Factory New” ammo?

Factory New (which is what we primarily stock) uses 100% new components. Remanufactured uses cleaned, once-fired brass. Both are safe, but Factory New offers the highest reliability for defense.
